School & Academy ICT Support

With years of experience working with primary and secondary schools across West Yorkshire, Urban provide quality support with ICT, MIS (including SIMS), servers and networks.

We’ve worked with schools of all sizes, from 100 pupil primary schools, through to 1400 pupil academies, and are aware of the importance of a reliable network. We tailor our packages to suit each school, with scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly visits and drop-in sessions.
We also provide on-site step-by-step IT training sessions for your staff at no extra charge – covering everything from creating PowerPoint presentations, through to running reports in SIMS.

Our Education Packages

Fully managed 24/7, on-site, remote and telephone IT Support for Primary and Secondary schools – covering a schools entire IT Infrastructure with unlimited call-outs.

IT Strategy Development – ensuring that your school benefits from the most up-to-date digital learning experiences, whilst keeping costs minimal.

Similar to our business packages, we pro-actively monitor the IT Infrastructure to detect and repair issues before they have an impact – therefore reducing potential downtime.

Similar to the ‘Fully Managed’ package, this option provides schools with comprehensive IT Support – covering the entire IT Infrastructure.

In addition, we arrange a scheduled visit (at the same time each week) for approximately 4 hours – giving staff the chance to ‘drop-in’ to speak to us about any IT Problem.

IT Support is available 24/7, and where we can not fix problems remotely or over the telephone, we will visit the school – with no limits to the number of call-outs.

Enhanced DBS Clearance is available for inspection by schools.

Security & E-Safety

As part of your IT Support package, we offer E-Safety awareness guidance and courses to promote the importance of online safety to Teachers, Parents and Students. This includes alerting staff to emerging Mobile Apps and Social Media Sites, alongside awareness on how schools can work with parents to mitigate the impact of such apps in school. We are also fully aware of the latest Counter-Extremism legislation and guidelines issued by the Government, and can advise schools on development of their E-Safety policies.
